Irish Coffee from the Buena Vista San Francisco | Been a long time since my visit last year to the buena vista. little if anything has changed---including the bartender.

The Buena Vista on Fisherman's Wharf serves as many as 2,000 of these famous Irish Coffees each day. It's a great way to warm up on a foggy day by the bay; however, after a few of these, you may be feeling a little foggy yourself. The major difference from other Irish Coffee recipes here is the use of sugar cubes.

Ingredients Makes For Irish Coffee from the Buena Vista San Francisco:

• Six ounces brewed coffee
• Two sugar cubes
• One Half ounces Irish whiskey (1 jigger)
• heavy cream, lightly whipped

How to Makes For Irish Coffee from the Buena Vista San Francisco:

1. To start off, First fill glass with very hot water to pre-heat, then empty.
2. Pour hot coffee into hot glass until it is about three-quarters full.
3. Drop in 2 cocktail sugar cubes.
4. Stir until the sugar is thoroughly dissolved.
5. Add full jigger of Irish Whiskey for proper taste and body.
6. Top with a collar of whipped cream by pouring gently over a spoon.

• Some hot water
• Six ounces of hot, fresh brewed coffee
• 2 cocktail sugar cubes
• Jigger of your favorite Irish whiskey
• Fresh (preferably homemade) whipped cream

How To makes for buena vista irish coffee:

To start off, you will need to fill your empty glass with the hot water to preheat the glass. After you fill it, let it preheat the glass for a few seconds and then proceed to dump the water out. Follow by pouring the freshly brewed coffee into the glass until it is about 3 1/4 of the way filled. Then, pleace the 2 cocktail sugar cubes into the mix. Stir the mixture until the sugar cubes have dissolved. You can then add the shot or jigger of your favorite Irish whiskey into the coffee and sugar mix. Stir again. Then using a warm spoon, flip it over, and let the homemade whipped cream carefully slide over the spoon’s back and onto your Irish coffee mixture. You want to make sure that the whipped cream does not break into the Irish coffee’s surface. finish and enjoy it while piping hot.

Ingredients Makes For Creamy Irish Coffee:

• Four c Strong fresh coffee
• 1/4 c Sugar
• Half c Irish whiskey 
• One c whipping cream
• Two tb Sugar
• Two tb Irish whiskey 

How To Makes For Creamy Irish Coffee:

Place Four cups of strong fresh coffee in a saucepan with 1/4 cup of sugar, or to taste. Add Half cup Irish Whiskey and heat thoroughly but do not boil. (Scotch, Bourbon or other whiskeys could be used.) Meanwhile whip One cup whipping cream until light. Beat in Two tb each of sugar and Irish whiskey. Pour coffee into mugs and pipe or spoonflavoured cream on top. Serve immediately.

Ingredients Makes For Creamy Irish Coffee:

• 1/3 c Irish cream liqueur
• One Half c Freshly brewed coffee
• 1/4 c Heavy cream, slightly sweetened and whipped, optional

How To Makes For Creamy Irish Coffee:

Divide the liqueur and coffee among two mugs. Top with poufs of whipped cream if desired. Serve at once.
